Registrations on behalf of foreign companies before Registro.br.
• Power of Attorney (Notarization and legalization in the registrant’s country and sworn translation into Portuguese language are required);
• Affidavit (Field of Activity), stating the company name, full address, telephone, main field of activity, services/goods (activities) and the legal representative name and address (Notarization and legalization in the registrant’s country and sworn translation into Portuguese language are required);
• Declaration committing that the applicant will establish its activities in Brazil within 12 months (Notarization and legalization in the registrant’s country and sworn translation into Portuguese language are required).
Some restrictions are applied to foreign applicant’s registrations:
• The domain billing contacts must be from a national address;
• Foreign registrant company name only can be administratively amended by Registro.br.
On average, the analysis takes from 10 to 20 days.
